Solve began with a personal problem.
For years, Monika struggled with dry, damaged hair. When nothing worked, she
decided to study cosmetic chemistry.
There, she learned that acidic formulations can help smooth the hair cuticle, leaving hair softer and shinier. But there was a challenge: creating highly acidic liquid conditioners is technically difficult and often compromises product stability.
That's why she developed a low-pH solid conditioner and began testing it on herself. Within weeks, her hair transformed.
At that moment, she knew this innovation deserved to be shared.
Monika turned to the person she trusted most: her best friend, Evelina.
The two first met while studying Medical Genetics at university. United by their passion for science, they later went on to build careers in the pharmaceutical industry, where they gained valuable experience in research, development, quality standards, and evidence-based innovation.
But despite successful careers in pharma, both felt drawn to a bigger mission: creating products that combined scientific performance with cleaner, more responsible formulations.
When Monika shared her vision, Evelina immediately believed in it. She had just one condition: every product had to meet the highest standards of ingredient
quality and transparency, with formulations built around clean ingredients and COSMOS certification.
Monika agreed.
Soon after, both made the bold decision to leave the pharmaceutical industry and dedicate themselves fully to building Solve.
